We’re a community choir, not a data company. Here’s exactly what we collect, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
If you never use our contact form, we hold nothing about you.
When you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to type: your name, your email address, a subject and your message.
That’s the complete list. We don’t ask for your address, your date of birth, or anything else. We don’t buy personal data, and we don’t receive it from anyone else.
We use your details for one purpose: answering you.
Our legal basis is your consent — you chose to contact us, and by doing so you asked us to reply. We rely on that consent only to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up conversation about it.
We will never use your email address to send you marketing, add you to a mailing list, or share it with another organisation for their own purposes.
Your message is stored in our website’s database and delivered by email.
Messages are saved in a database operated by Cloudflare, who host this website, and forwarded to us using Web3Forms, who process it purely to deliver the email. Both act as processors on our instructions and may not use your details for anything else.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Nobody outside those services and our own choir committee sees what you send.
One note in full honesty: this site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. We include this because a privacy notice should tell you the whole story, not just the easy parts.
This website sets no cookies at all.
There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no behavioural profiling. We have never enabled any of them, and you won’t see a cookie banner here because there would be nothing for it to warn you about.
Our social links simply point to our Facebook page. Nothing is sent to Facebook until you choose to click.
Under UK data protection law you can, at any time and free of charge, ask us to:
Request a copy of the personal information we have about you.
Tell us to update anything that’s wrong or incomplete.
Ask us to erase your message and our reply, where we no longer need them.
Change your mind at any time. It won’t affect anything done before that.
How long we keep it. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your question and any ongoing connection with the choir, then delete it. We don’t operate a fixed retention period, and we won’t keep your details indefinitely without reason.
How to reach us. The quickest way is our contact form. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re not happy. Please tell us first — we’d genuinely like the chance to put it right. If you’re still unsatisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, the UK’s independent data protection regulator.
This notice describes how this website handles information. It may be updated as the site changes — the date at the top of this page always shows when it last was.
Still got a question?
About the music, the money, or your data — we’ll answer any of it.
